History
Also known as the Malgavita site.
The site formed part of the Maypole Dairy margarine factory run by Otto Monstead. The factory was built in 1894 and stretched over 28 hectares at its peak. It was eventually brought by the Lever Brothers who converted the site into a Wall’s Sausage factory which was still in production until the late 1970’s.

2017 - Planning permission for: Redevelopment of the site to provide a 5-18 storey perimeter building to accommodate 826sqm of commercial floorspace at ground floor (mixture of Land Use Classes D2, A1,A3 and B1) and 225 residential units (5 x studio, 66 x 1 bed, 121 x 2 bed, 33 x 3 bed), amenity space at 5th 6th 7th and 8th floors, car and cycle parking, refuse storage, vehicular access to the east of the site, landscaping and lighting. The applicant was Aria Developments Ltdand the agent is Barton Wilmore Planning. Ealing Council ref. no. P/2015/2404.
