The Coade
Key Details
Overview
92-98 Vauxhall Walk is an office building by CLS Holdings in London SE11.
The building completed in Q2 2023 contains 27,000 sq ft of high-quality office space, a communal and private south-facing roof terrace, a café, shower and changing facilities along with secure cycle storage.
The development is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating and will feature passive ventilation, smart lighting and PhotoVoltaic (PV) panels.
The development is named after Eleanor Coade, a Lambeth local, recognized as one of the few women who significantly impacted the architecture of the eighteenth century. She adapted a formula to manufacture an elegant artificial stone made of clay, terracotta, silicates and glass. Coade stone can be found all over London, but the Southbank Lion at Westminster Bridge is one of the best examples.
2020 May - Resolution to grant planning permission for a new 29,500 sq. ft (2,741 sqm) 10-floor, office development at Vauxhall Walk was achieved. Initial site investigation and pre-construction works are ongoing before an anticipated construction start at the beginning of 2021.
