2018 October - Acorn Property Group submits a new planning application for change of use from 106 residential units (40 x studios, 36 x 1bed and 30 x 2bed), 41 aparthotel units/partially vacant aparthotel floorspace and flexible retail/commercial floorspace to 86 residential units (4 x studio, 30 x 1-bed, 45 x 2-bed and 7 x 3-bed), 143 aparthotel units, a new gym (D2), a cafe (A3) and flexible retail/commercial floorspace (A1, A2, A3, B1a); Southwark Council ref.no. 18/AP/3167.
2018 August - SACO acquires the development from First Base and plans to complete it by Spring 2020. The planned development comprised apartments, a short stay hotel and commercial units.
2017 April - The site has the resolution to grant planning permission. Ref no 16/AP/3222 by London Borough of Southwark. Developer: Starwood Capital Group and First Base, Architect: Arney Fender Katsalidis.

The site is 650 metres from Tower Bridge adjacent to the Grade II* listed Mary Magdalen Church and gardens.
