The 21,000 sq ft prime office development at 15 Suffolk Street in the heart of the West End recently received a complete facelift. The property is within The Crown Estate portfolio and has recently been given a fresh look by Romford based building and refurbishment contractors HBS Ltd.
HBS were engaged to carry out this prestigious project and assembled a support team from their sub-contractor supply chain to form a tried and trusted group of specialist contractors. Working in the West End always carries with it challenges and responsibilities and the team took all of this in their stride. HBS worked very closely with the surveyors (Devonshire Partnership) and the buildings tenants to complete the project on budget and on programme.
The standard of work required in this area is of course very high especially as the property is part of The Crown Estate. With such prestigious neighbours as The University of Notre Dame HBS worked very hard to keep disruption to the building tenants and public to an absolute minimum. The building was scaffolded and meticulously re-painted with additional work to the railings, roof and architectural features.
HBS carry out projects within the Health, Education, Public and Private sectors in London and Essex and have recently secured major new build and refurbishment contracts all over the UK. Andrew Pratt, Director, of HBS stated “We are fortunate in having a very good repeat customer base however this new client found us via a web search. It is always rewarding to work on properties of this calibre for like-minded professional clients.”
