Lancaster House is a building in St James’s, London SW1.

Known as Stafford House from 1829 until 1913 while Marquess of Stafford's (later the first Duke of Sutherland) family occupied the house.

In 1913 Lancastrian Lord Leverhulme bought the lease for the nation and Stafford House became Lancaster House.
