Overview
Meridian One is the first phase of the £6 billion Meridian Water development by Enfield Council in Enfield, North London N18.
This first phase is delivered by Vistry Partnerships comprising new homes, as well as leisure, retail, employment, and community spaces.
Studios, one and two-bedroom apartments are for sale through private sale and Shared Ownership scheme.
The development will include:
- 977 new homes
- 50% affordable housing overall (made up of 25% Council homes, and 25% ‘intermediate’ homes).
- The Council homes will be for London Affordable Rent (LAR) and the intermediate homes will include Shared Ownership Homes aimed at first time buyers and key workers.
- The other 50% of private homes will include homes for sale and for rent.
The scheme will also deliver new public open spaces and improve connections between Meridian Water Station and Upper Edmonton.
Construction works for the first phase of the development started in August 2021. The first completion of the new Council homes will be in 2023. The overall development will be constructed in phases from 2021 with the last completions expected in 2027.
The architect of the Meridian Water masterplan is Karakusevic Carson Architects. Architects of Meridian One include HTA and Hawkins/Brown.
