One The Thames
Key Details
Overview
One The Thames is a mixed-use development by the River Thames in London WC2.
The development comprises two buildings - one facing The Strand and one overlooking the River Thames.
Also known as Arundel Great Court - North and South Site.
Arundel Great Court - South Site
Avondale Construction is building residential flats and hotel rooms. Designed by HCL Architects.
The new riverfront building apartments and penthouses approached via a grand entrance on Temple Place.
The apartments facing the river have generous balconies whose forms respond to the waves of the river and the curved bow of the classic HQS Wellington, which is moored to the east of the site. Enrichment of the stone and balcony screens refers to how light bounces off moving water onto the hull of yachts and ships.
On-site facilities include a swimming pool and fitness suite, gallery and events rooms.
Transport: Right next to Temple station.
