2017 January - Planning permission granted by Tower Hamlets for:
Demolition of existing buildings and erection of three blocks ranging from 4 to 25 storeys in height comprising 564 residential units, commercial floorspace, 70 off-street car parking spaces, communal courtyards, associated landscaping and associated ancillary works. Ref. no. PA/15/01789/A1.

2013 November - L&Q acquires Safestore's 3.5-acre site for £41.1 million. Formerly known as Whitechapel Central.
