ZLS London Zoo opened on Sunday 27th April 1828.
The site was originally built in 1828 to the designs of architect Decimus Burton.
The main entrance is on Outer Circle.
London Zoo buildings:
1. Zoo Shop - The shop building and exit on the corner of Regent's Park Broadwalk and Outer Circle.
3. The Terrace Restaurant
4. Reptile House - Built in 1927 and designed by Edward Guy-Dawber.
5. Tortoise House - Built in 2009 as a shelter for the Galapagos Tortoises.
