Overview

Worship Square on Clifton Street is an office development next to Broadgate in London EC2.

The building designed by MAKE Architects will provide 13,000m2 of workspace and over 800m2 of terracing. It is set to have 50% less embodied carbon compared to current industry benchmarks – equivalent to the average carbon footprint of 3,000 homes.

Worship Square is designed to achieve 5* NABERS and BREEAM Outstanding certification. It’s also aiming for a WELL Platinum rating, the highest certification for wellbeing.

Amenities include a multi-functional fitness studio offering tailored classes, high-end changing facilities, 324 cycle spaces for active commuters, and free bookable Brompton bikes and e-scooters to enable active lifestyles.

The building has received WiredScore Platinum and is one of only three schemes globally to achieve SmartScore Platinum.

The smart technology platform Symbiosy provides analytics on everything from indoor air quality and temperature to room capacity, together with the ability to adjust settings and transparently show building usage.

People working within the building will have access to the MORE app enjoying the team’s personalised concierge service, environmental insights dashboard, and other services.

2019 February - Planning application submitted for: Demolition of the existing buildings and redevelopment to provide a 9 storey building and two levels of basement comprising office (B1) and flexible use (A1-A4, D1 and D2 with associated cycle parking, landscaping and enabling works. 2018 November - Public consultation was held on the 28th November 2018.

Quick (1988) and Tower House (1992) on this site were two self-contained office buildings located at the junction of Worship Street and Clifton Street. Tower House is situated at 67–73 Worship Street. Quick House is facing onto Clifton Street.
