Buildington joins Real Developer 2022 prop-tech panel

The UK accreditation programme for SME property developers and land buyers, Real Developer, has confirmed the new build homes portal Buildington as its new homes tech panel member for their third year’s programme, as one of three digital support firms.

The quality stamp for small and medium firms developing land and existing buildings for residential use has previously worked exclusively with Land appraisal tool, LandInsight, before opening its panel to other core sector teams, including Buildington.

The accreditation, managed by land platform TrustedLand, reviews qualifying developer firms on three core areas; Track Record, Business Setup and Brand Profile, to determine each year’s selected Real Developers. In 2021 the accreditation programme saw experienced firms such as Pocket Living, Troy Homes and Broadwing Homes receive this prestigious recognition.

Since its inception, the programme has been featured regularly by major property media outlets such as EG (Estates Gazette) and Property Investor News. It has focused primarily on land acquisition opportunities, helping accredited firms stand out and gain additional exposure to key stakeholders.

The programme also provides access to the organisers’ land network and advisory and expert events through its sister firm, Developers Boardroom. The current cohort welcomed focused talks from experts such as Mark Farmer, Tom Bloxham, and Dominic Grace in recent months. Also recently, EG’s Chief Editor Sam McClary took questions fielded from a select group of attendees at TrustedLand’s 4th Anniversary celebration, which Buildington team also attended.

TrustedLand’s founder and Chief Executive, Alex Harrington-Griffin, shared his thoughts on Buildington’s property portal contribution to the programme:

Standing back and admiring a well-designed, thought out, quality new home or apartment is where a small developer’s legacy is finalised. Providing a Real Developer with the incredible visibility that Buildington offers is an epic way to celebrate and promote their unique homes to active buyers.”

Approved developers who enter the 2022 programme can expect exclusive rates for Buildington and other prop-tech panel members, including LandInsight and Fonn. Approved spaces are limited to 100 firms, and applications are open until 30 November 2021.
