When I grow up, I want to be an estate agent!
Estate agent Hamptons International is known for their love of children as they often run competitions or help launch the latest movies for kids. So it comes as no surprise that they, of all agents in London, have landed a deal with Westfield’s KidZania, where children can have a real-life introduction to the world of work by trying out an occupation for a day.
“We very much look forward to offering children between the ages of four to fourteen a real insight into an estate agency career and hope to inspire a future generation of industry professionals,” said Graham Bell, speaking on behalf of Hamptons International at the opening event in the beginning of January.
Natascha Crump, KidZania London CEO, commented:
“At the heart of KidZania London is our desire to inspire children to explore the opportunities the world of work has to offer, through creative role-play. Integral to our success are our innovative, fresh-thinking Industry Partners who each bring new and inspiring experiences and interactive activities to the City. We are delighted that Hamptons International has chosen to open its latest branch at KidZania London, giving children like Max the opportunity to aspire to becoming an Estate Agent, alongside offering a spectrum over 60 other alternative careers at KidZania London.”
Granted, it’s not an easy 9-5 job, so it would be interesting to know what the kids think of the profession after going through this crash course.
