New London Property Developments Completing in 2018

Many exciting property developments in London will finally reach completion this year and hopefully we will see some great new ones getting off the ground.

For the past seven years, we have been keeping you posted on the new homes and offices being built in the capital and this year will be no different!

Let’s start by taking a look at some of the well known developments that are due to complete in 2018.

New Homes

One Blackfriars

Southwark SE1
The 50-storey tower with 273 apartments on Blackfriars Road should complete in spring 2018. Developed by St George, designed by SimpsonHaugh and Partners.

Landmark Place

Near Tower of London EC3
The former Sugar Quay building is replaced with a new building comprising 165 apartments. Expected completion summer 2018. Designed by Foster + Partners, developed by Barratt.

Twenty Grosvenor Square

Mayfair W1
37 lateral apartments in the former HQ of the US Navy in London. Developed by Finchatton, the homes are due to complete this summer.

Lincoln Square

London WC2
Lodha Group’s first residential development in London is due to complete in the last quarter of 2018. Architecture by PLP Architecture.

Hampstead Manor

Hampstead NW3
The Grade II listed building is converted into 156 apartments by Mount Anvil.

New Offices

 

100 Bishopsgate

City of London EC3
37-storey 948,600 sq ft office building on the corner of Bishopsgate and Bevis Marks was designed by Allies & Morrison. Developed by Brookfield.

Seventy St. Mary Axe

City of London EC3
300,000 sq ft of premium offices over 21 storeys. Designed by Foggo Associates. A development by TIAA Henderson Real Estate.

New Bracken House

City of London EC4
Financial Times will move back to the redeveloped Bracken House building this year after selling One Southwark Bridge.

The Post Building

London WC1
Designed by Alford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), the new 320,000 sq ft office building will be completed in the summer. Developed by Oxford Properties and Brockton Capital.
