Here is what buyers really want in 2017

london new development design study knight frank

Buyers care more about the apartment layout than the development location and its’ excessive amenities, says the latest London Development Design Study Spring 2017 by Knight Frank.

In the current product-led and less location-led market, the buyers are more interested in the space, layout, architecture and views. The most important factor is apparently the ceiling height, which has to be at least 2.6m and over 2.8m fo a prime market where sq ft costs more than £3,000.

Security, concierge services, and underground parking are the most important amenities but the rest can be sacrificed if this means smaller Service Charge costs.

Electric Park Launch in Brixton is Sold Out

Sorry if you didn’t get the tickets to the launch of the Shared Ownership homes in the Electric Quarter at Loughborough Park in Brixton but not to worry – Guinness Homes says this won’t be the last event!

Development launch events are very popular among London property buyers at the moment but it is not necessarily the end of the world if you cannot RSVP on time. True, true – the early bird has a better choice of the worms! But very often the developers here sell in stages and sometimes the best is left for the last. That is definitely the case with the penthouses anyway…

To make sure you won’t miss any launch events, sign up to our Launching Soon list below. We always announce these on the development profiles as well.
